What Is Church Consultation?

Church Consultation is an intentional process of investigation and analysis, either limited or comprehensive in scope, through which recommendations for improvement are presented to a church by one or more qualified consultants.

How Long Does It Take?

A Consultation may take as little as one day or as long as six months, depending on what a church needs or wants.

How Much Does It Cost?

Fees are based on the ability of a church to pay. The range is from no charge to several hundred dollars. We desire to help all churches that request our services, regardless of their financial limitations.

How Does It Work?

  1. You request information about a consultation from us. This request is usually made by telephone or mail.
  2. We request general information about your church from you. An interview is typically done over the telephone.
  3. We prepare a written proposal detailing how we may help you and your church.
  4. You and your church agree for us to proceed as proposed.
  5. We secure for community demographics from outside sources.
  6. We ask for statistical information about your church.
  7. We ask you to lead your members to complete survey forms which you then return to us.
  8. We analyze the information on your church gathered through 5,6, and 7 above.
  9. We visit your church to give you a preliminary report
  1. We return home and prepare a written report, which you then approve.
  2. We present the written report, ideally in person.
  3. We propose future action.
  4. We follow-up as desired.
